come and knock on our door ...

If you could have lived in any sitcom from your youth, which sitcom would you choose?

Did Jack, Janet and Chrissy ever have a threesome?

Was Charles really ever "in charge"?

How did Laverne and Shirley afford that apartment?

Why didn't Jo kick Blair's ass more often?

How many girls out there had a "Skippy" in their lives?

And how many of you guys had a "Mallory" in yours?

I love when you post scientific surveys.

Hmm, probably Silver Spoons. I really loved the house . . . at least from the outside. And, of course, the opportunity for youthful indiscretions with Ricky Shroder and Jason Bateman. Erin Grey would need to turn up the bitchiness factor a bit though a la Megan Mullaly on Will & Grace.

Ya know, I was never really interested in imagining any of them having sex . . . together or alone.

Skinny Italian boys never did it for me, so "no," he wasn't "in charge." Neither was the Karate Kid.

What? It was a basement apartment in Milwaukee. And they did have jobs. The real question is how did Monica and Rachel afford their apartment in the West Village (although I think this was eventually explained as an illegal sublet of a rent controlled unit).

Duh, because she had a lesbian crush on her.

I don't get to answer this one.

Do you mean a somewhat ditzy but attractive sister? Then no.

Having just seen Juno this past weekend (great movie, by the way), I think we would all have to agree that Jason Bateman has aged better than Rick nee Ricky Shroder . . . even though he was a bit of an ass in the movie.

Juno was great! And the soundtrack is on constant rotation at my office.

I'm still young, so I consider "Friends" as being a sitcom from my youth - and I'd like to live there, please. I can drink coffee all day with attractive people, sure!

Ok, if I have to go back to my YOUTH, then Happy Days. The Fonz would take me under his wing and we'd say "Heeey" to everyone.

Jack always wanted it, Janet secretly wanted it, Chrissy didn't know what it was. Larry upstairs had them ALL THE TIME!

Charles was a schmuck and was never in charge.

You don't just think they worked in a brewery, did you? You need to Google "Laverne and Shirley Afterhours" to see how they made their REAL money...

What Boo said. Lesbian crush all the way. That and the hair.

Can't answer the Skippy one.

I think my older sister would have been considered a "Mallory" - although she's fairly intelligent, she had her wacky days.

But Higgy, who on Earth would you want to shag on Happy Days? Oh wait, that wasn't the point, was it. Nevermind.
