1) Vision - I have dreams of being blind and as a child I used to pretend I was alot. Yeah, so, ok, I'm a weirdo.

2) Musician- All Blind Musicians are the SHIZNIT.

3) Depends on how many glasses of wine she has.

smell - same reason as Tamara, also it seems a good deal of the smells around are bad ones, and my Mrs. is a superb smeller so no big loss!

1. Taste. Food bores me as it is. I would rather smell a crisp autumn day and a wood burning stove than taste any food or drink any day and twice on Sunday.

2. Dancer. I love to dance. It makes me feel light, beautiful and free. Wheeeeeeeeeee. Plus a dancer's body is hawt!

3. 69

A total waste of a long, hot, steamy shower scene.

1. Smell - although even that would be a huge loss. I'm terrified of being blind!
2. Comedian - I love making people laugh.
3. Never had one, so can't say.

1.speech.. because
a. I can still blog and you'll never know the difference.
b. I can learn sign language
c. I have an excuse to not talk to people who bore/irritate me.
d. I am forever prevented from saying exactly what I'm thinking at the times when I'm thinking something unwise... (unless you also sign..)

The only downside/s I can see to this are
a. My children would not know the sound of their mother's voice.
b. I couldn't yell if I saw a truck coming and Mr FishPenis was wandering into its path.

2. Writer.. preferrably of something deeply significant yet somehow still cash-producing. Yeah, I know.. good luck with that.

3. Who stops to count? You've got a Tootsie Pop!!

What are the five senses?
1. Touch
2. Taste
3. Smell
4. Sight
5. Hearing

Oh Kaf ... pick again, sweet'ums.
Though your answer did rock ... so the judges have made an exception.

1. I think if you lost your sense of smell, you'd also lose taste, not to mention class. Since I'm already tasteless, I'll have to go with that.

2. Dancer - same reasons as Punky's

3. Are we talking inserting the tootsie pop all the way into and out of your mouth repeatedly? Or holding it steady while licking up and down on one side? It makes a difference.

I didn't count steps ... but I did walk so that I only took two steps in each cement sidewalk square ... I was OCD like that.

When I was little, if I hit my right arm on something by accident, I would have to hit my left arm also so I would feel balanced. I was always evenly bruised.

These things just come to me. :)

I'm quirky.

Punky, darlin...that is just odd. It is also the reason we love you.

1.) Hmm, since smell and taste are linked, and I love food, that knocks those two out. Touch is pretty dern important. That just leaves vision and hearing....hmmmm....I'm going to say I would rather lose sight out of those two. I couldn't live without hearing music.

2.) I'm going to go with writer on this one. If only for the fact that I've been working at it for a while now. Unsuccessfully, mind you. The idea for my book came to me about three years ago, and so far I have written approximately 10 pages.

3.) Pi

1. smell, for the same reason as Tamara & others. I've been losing some sense of smell for years and NO, it doesn't affect sense of taste - or at least not so far.

My sight is still 20/20 for distance though I need reading glasses, and my hearing is OK too. I think those two are the most important to me.

2. musician. I can write and have, but I've always wished I had musical talents, which I don't.

3. beats the heck out of me

Okay, numero uno:

I would give up my sense of taste. I have tasted so many different foods, and have eaten so many spicy, hot things that taste would be the only thing I could live without......I couldn't do without touch because there is nothing in the world like the feel of a womens hip when you are laying next to her in the middle of the night and you reach your hand out and feel the warmth/ccolness, softness, smoothness, rhythm of her pulse beneath your hand. Not smell, because the smell of a certain perfume or the smell of spring can lift me beyond where I am at the moment. Not sight, as there are so many things that have taken my breath away by just looking upon them. And not hearing because there can be so much comfort and yet so much excitement in the sound of a song or a humans voice.

Which leads me to answer B: Musician, although it's a tough choice of that or comedian, but music can lead me to some of the strongest emotions I have ever felt, whether it's me playing guitar and singing something that I have inside, or a song on the radio on my way home from work that just strikes me so violently that I nearly drive off of the road. The hard part of not chosing comedian is that there are so many things in life that just need to be laughed at....

And then answer Skip: Three.... I can never mke it that far without biting....

Oopps... I goofed.. sorry, Punky. Okay.. if I have to pick an actual sense... I think I want to keep all of them.. but I have a question first.

Do we get to keep the memory of the sense, and yet lose the sense, or is it like we never had it to start with? Because if we've never had it, losing it won't make any difference. It may be slightly disabling in some situtations (someone laces your glass of water with arsenic and you can't taste it... could be problematic..), but ultimately, you have no basis for comparison. If I could have the memory and lose the ability, then probably hearing would have to go. I've always liked the sound of silence.. and I have 30+ years of music and so forth stored somewhere in my brain.. (which is currently on a loop between "Little Bunny Foofoo" and some song about ducks.. I think that's punishment enough for all my sins.), and I would only have to close my eyes to shut out the whole world.
That and I've always thought sign language was really cool.

Probably hearing. I've got an audiologist-wannabe wife who could help me out.

I usually say smell, because mine's not particularly sharp, but recently I've been thinking how amazing smells are, and I think I would miss hearing less than I would smells. I can always replay my favorite music in my mind; not so with smells.

2. Writer. I'm not much of a solo performer.

3. 3

1. Since I crank up the iPod for the commute to and from work everyday, I'll say hearing. I'm going to loose it anyway.

2. If I can be like Wyld Stallyon and bring peace to the Middle East, etc., I'll go with musician.

3. Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a Tootsie Roll?
