The chance to rediscover the joy in my chosen art form. My gorgeous new nephew. Healthy family. All of them. The teaching opportunities of the past, present and future. The learning opportunities of same. A happy, healthy marriage. Good friends. Discovering the joy of new art forms. Intelligence. Health. Relative political equality.

Leetie, I though Orgasms would rank higher on the list.

I am thankful:
-that I am still in control of all my facilities.
-That my teenager has lived through another year, thus keeping my out of prison (for murder).
-That I still have a good paying job that puts a roof over our heads, lots of food on the table, and still some left over for toys.
-and that I still have a wife that is hopelessly in love with me despite myself.

I am thankful for:
1. My wife and son - the joy they bring into my life is immeasurable.
2. Our jobs - which enable our lifestyles AND allow us to work from home - thus spending more time with #1 above.
3. Our health and that of our families.
4. Lisa's family - having them in the area is amazingly supportive.

I'm thankful that pure human ingenuity made the can opener part of our world.

I just hate to think of all the wasted food stuck in those cans if that hadn't happened.
