Dreamweaver, I believe we can reach the morning light ...

Yesterday I had a random thought pass quickly through my mind. I thought nothing of it. And then no more than 30 minutes later, that exact thought happened in real life. This is not a first in my life ... but it did get me thinking, as most things do.

So here are my questions to you ...

- Has this ever happened to you?

- Is everything simply coincidence, or do you think everything has significance? Does everything happen for a reason?

- Do we create our life and all that happens within it through our thoughts? Or are things predestined? Or are we simply at the mercy of happenstance and luck?

Yes it has happened to me a number of times, and a few of them I felt as it was happening that it was going to be a deja vu episode and happen again.

Also happened: mentioned an old friend we hadn't seen in months and ran into him 5 minutes later in a place he wouldn't normally be.

Some things are coincidence. There may be reasons we don't understand but no, I don't think that everything happens for a reason. I've had both good and bad things happen by simply driving a different route. Was I "compelled" to do it by some power or simply chance, or was it a total crapshoot?

I can't answer that.

No, I do not believe everything is predestined, of course not. We do have free choice and yes, happenstance and luck play a significant part in life.

it certainly has happened to me, quite a few times. its also happened via dreams, not just thoughts. every once in a while ill get a little flash into the future, and it creeps the hell out of me. i believe it is part of the human brain that is the most undeveloped - the extra sensory part. i believe it happens to everyone, and some notice it more than others.

i believe everything happens for a reason, and everything holds significance. however, certain things are understood immediately, while others arent fully realized until years and years later.

i believe things are predestined. it makes life a lot easier to live for me. i feel that no matter what happens, i will always get to where i need to go, so i try to do my best to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I'll try to be brief to an interesting and enjoyable topic...but first...GREAT SONG !

1) It happens to me quite often.

2) Everything has significance.
2A) Things probably happen for MANY REASONS, the trick is learning the lesson therein.

3) No, life is shared with others. The interaction is the creation.
3A) Nope...there are too many ingredients around...predestined doesn't live here
3B) Happenstance & Luck???...Only at casinos...so don't go there. :)

Yes, it has.

I think coincidences exist to remind us of the flow. We can choose to step into the river, scary as that is, and be carried along in the right direction, or we can choose to stay on the shore line and fight our way through the weeds and brambles. I always experience deja vu, for instance, as an indicator that I'm in the right place.

But then, I also believe we have to take responsibility for our actions and our choices, and I am convinced that I am an inordinately lucky woman.
