why do i get the feeling that punky's blog is nothing more than a pre-screening survey used to select the small group of people that will be secreted away in the government's super-top secret survival bunker so that we can re-poplulate the earth after it's hit by a giant comet or asteroid or hemorrhoid or whatever? so punky, how am i doing? am i making the cut?

1. 6'3" remember, you'll need tall people to change light bulbs, grab stuff off of high shelves, etc.

2. lee. as in "Robert Lee Carson, III." named after my father and grandfather, respectively. my grandfather was named after General Robert E. Lee. his grandfather surrended at appomatox courthourse with Lee. it might be nice to have some people around after the destruction who remember bits of history and our connection to it.

3. i prefer non-shedding, hypo-allergenic breeds like poodles, shitz zhu and llhasa apsos, but i am comfortable around larger working dogs. and remember, the standard poodle actually started off as a german hunting dog (it's not really french).

7. halloween, but i'm really judging on the basis of the slightly warmer fuzzy that the peanuts halloween television special (it's the great pumpkin charlie brown) gives me. christmas is an important religious event, but as a cultural holiday i think it may be getting out of hand.

8. tell the truth.

9. no, but i am willing to learn. decent when it comes to snorkeling.

10. yes. plus, i had to pass a swim test to graduate from college.
