why do i get the feeling that punky's blog is nothing more than a pre-screening survey used to select the small group of people that will be secreted away in the government's super-top secret survival bunker so that we can re-poplulate the earth after it's hit by a giant comet or asteroid or hemorrhoid or whatever? so punky, how am i doing? am i making the cut?

1. 6'3" remember, you'll need tall people to change light bulbs, grab stuff off of high shelves, etc.

2. lee. as in "Robert Lee Carson, III." named after my father and grandfather, respectively. my grandfather was named after General Robert E. Lee. his grandfather surrended at appomatox courthourse with Lee. it might be nice to have some people around after the destruction who remember bits of history and our connection to it.

3. i prefer non-shedding, hypo-allergenic breeds like poodles, shitz zhu and llhasa apsos, but i am comfortable around larger working dogs. and remember, the standard poodle actually started off as a german hunting dog (it's not really french).

4. i make a mean meat lasagna on special occassions.

5. the exorcist (but the legend of boggy creek (about a bigfoot creature in arkansas) also freaked me out).

6. if instructed to do so i will. what about at 12:34, anything happen then? incidentally, this morning was 01:02:03:04:05:06 if you were paying attention (that's 1:02:03 a.m., april 5, 2006. it won't occur until may 4, 2006 in europe. see, you need me because i pay attention to interesting details.

7. halloween, but i'm really judging on the basis of the slightly warmer fuzzy that the peanuts halloween television special (it's the great pumpkin charlie brown) gives me. christmas is an important religious event, but as a cultural holiday i think it may be getting out of hand.

8. tell the truth.

9. no, but i am willing to learn. decent when it comes to snorkeling.

10. yes. plus, i had to pass a swim test to graduate from college.

9. I'm P.A.D.I. certified.

10. Absolutely. I was a Water Survival Instructor once apon a time.

Bis.. how can you eat like that and stay so slim? If I didn't love you, I think I'd hate you right now... but onwards & upwards.. I tried to post my answer before but Blogger wouldn't let me through, so I'm trying again..

wOOt! okay.. this is copied & pasted from a couple or three hours ago..

Whew, there's a lot of questions! I reckon we're being screened to see who gets to go to the next level of enlightenment.
BTW Punky, if it's 11:11 every time you look up, your clock's broken or the battery's flat.

1. 5'5 & a bit" (the bit is very important when your sister is 5'10" and wears stilettos and your brother is 6'4")
2. Maree
3. Springer Spaniel (no brains, but a huge heart)
4. This changes often.. a regular favourite is pumpkin & roasted vegetable pasta dish
5. Silence of the Lambs.. I'm not big on horror or psychological thrillers, unless I'm reading a book.. I have no problem with the book form, but the movies creep me out
6. No, but given that you do it daily, can you tell us if it works? Because I could start..
7. Show Weekend (long holiday weekend) in the third week of November.. there's a wonderful Agricultural & Pastoral show which half the city and all the tourists go to, the weather's fantastic and there's a real sense of community and joy there. Also there's lots of cute baby animals!!
8. Depends on how well I know them. If I know them well, I'll tell them the truth. Otherwise, I'll fob them off with something like "Well, it's not for me, but if you're happy, that's great!"(Yes, I know that's a horrible thing to do, but I hate confrontation..)
9. nope
10. Enough so that I won't drown, but not really.
